APPLICATION:
Apply STONEWALL STONE-BOND to the substrate
where EPS Foam architectural shapes are to be
installed. This application is best accomplished
by using a rubber float. The recommended thickness
for this bonding coat is 1/4 inch. Apply a thin
coat (1/8 inch) of STONEWALL STONE-BOND
to the wall side of the shape and press firmly
to the wall. Care should be taken to not allow
either coat to skin over before application
is accomplished. Mechanical fasteners(washer
head nails or screws) may be needed to hold
the shape in place while the STONEWALL STONE-BOND
is setting.
STONEWALL ULTA-BOND may be used as a
plaster base coat for EPS Foam sheathing and
architectural shapes. STONEWALL STONE-BOND
can be applied by hand using a brush or trowel
or by spraying with an air hopper, rotor stater
or piston pump. Application should be 1/8 inch
in thickness. Apply STONEWALL STONE-BOND
to the desired substrate with sufficient thickness
to completely embed reinforcing mesh. Trowel
to a flat smooth surface. Apply the finish coat
A trowel to a flat smooth finish. Allow the
finish coat to cure for 24 hours prior to any
decorative finish coat application.
NOTE: When applying exterior stucco over
STONEWALL ULTRA- BOND, 16 oz. of acrilic
bonder must be added to each sack of stucco
to ensure bond of the finish stucco to the STONE-BOND
Basecoat.
STONE-BOND
is also available in different aggregate textures.
When a stronger finish over foam shapes, fiberglass
reinforced STONE-BOND is available.
